Launch of SPETA Gen II Leadership Programme (SGLP) – 31 July 2025

The SPETA Gen II Leadership Programme (SGLP) is officially underway!🚀

We kicked off Cohort 1 of SGLP with an energising welcome session on 31 July 2025 at Singapore Polytechnic. The session brought together second generation leaders, mentors, and industry partners. From goal setting and introductions to building new connections, the first session saw participants map out leadership goals, connect with peers and mentors, and explore strategic thinking tools. This set a strong foundation for the five month journey ahead.

The SGLP is designed specifically for second generation leaders in Precision Engineering, connecting them with industry veterans to learn, grow, and lead with confidence.

🔍 What’s next?
Over the next five months, participants will engage in:
• Fireside chats starting with a session on 22 August 2025 featuring seasoned leader Mr Low Ming Wah
• Workshops covering smart manufacturing, innovation, talent strategy, and financial planning
• An immersive overseas learning journey exploring China’s precision engineering ecosystem
• Tailored 1-1 mentorship sessions supporting each leader’s growth path throughout the programme
